Thanks Jason and Kira for hosting a most
informative meeting last night on Avista's
request to relicense the dams on the Spokane
River.  John Gangemi from AWA led us in some very 
informative discussions about what we may gain as 
a paddling community by engaging in the process.  
I urge you all to get involved and be counted. 
We have a potential gem in the making with the
Spokane River if we can sort out the flow issues. 
 As John said, "It's really up to us."  Lets get
after it!
