I don't know what other peoples excuses are but I 
have either been in summer school :  or paddling 
(St Joe, Boundary Creek, Wenatchee, Spokane,
etc.)  I must admit, the paddling on the
Wenatchee is pretty damn good right now!  Has
anyone been out to the Spokane recently? 
Shouldn't Sullivan Hole be on the upper end? 
Hope to see you all out there some evening this
week.  Won't be around this weekend however,
Stealth creek run in the Lochsa drainage (lots of 
hiking) and Gold Hole on the Salmon are on my
agenda.
